Chris RoworthOn the 30th of October 2008, Chris Roworth received a letter and Bunnings gift voucher from Shell, congratulating him on his outstanding efforts in delivering bulk fuel to the Barrick Plutonic Gold Mine.
Craig Goodall
Craig loaded 6,000 litres of oil as per his paperwork and travelled to the site. He completed his Shell Take 5 and found the tank was marked differently to the product he had on board, even though his paperwork matched his load. Rather than just accepting the paperwork to be correct. Craig rang David Broun (Contract Supervisor - Goldfields) and clarified with Shell the identity of the product to be delivered. The Shell scheduler realised the site had accidentally ordered Rimula X instead of Rimula MV (they are not compatible despite having similar names) and Craig was instructed to return the oil to Kalgoorlie. Shell has recognised that Craig's diligence saved them from a lot of grief and rewarded Craig with a Shell jacket and a wooden desktop set containing a clock plus thermometer.
